Silence. Silence was attached to you like a thick layer of skin. You were the country of (c/n) and the only deaf nation. You had been deaf for as long as you could remember. Other countries didn’t bother to try communicating with you or bother acknowledging you.
At World meetings, someone had to write what America or Germany was saying so you could follow along. You only had a few friendly countries who still tried to socialize with you. You would look around the room curiously to see the other nations. A pair of purple orbs always seemed to meet yours. You often found Russia stealing glances at you.
“Uh, (y/n) you ok?” Am

Why Did Russia Jump?
Ivan Braginsky (Russia) broke his back yesterday because he jumped out of a plane without a parachute. The big question is : "Why did he jump?" According to Yao Wang (China), Mr Braginsky said the snow would break his fall because it was soft. Aparently, when Mr Wang advised against jumping, Mr Braginsky said "I'm Russian, I know everything about snow!". At this moment in time, Mr Braginsky is currently unconscious in hospital, and we are awaiting his comment on this bizarre event
You put the newspaper down, sighing sadly as you looked at Ivan. He looked so peaceful as he slept in the hospital bed. The doctor said he wa

“Ms. (y/n) you may need more surgery if your hip does not heal” the doctor explained as you laid on the cold hospital bed. You were the country of (c/n). Your country was suffering an economic crisis, as predicted, your body took its toll.
“You may experience difficulty walking for long periods of time. We suggest you use a wheelchair mainly” the doctor explained further while you nodded.
“There’s someone here to take you home” a nurse entered and the doctor nodded before turning to you and smiling as he left the room.
“Privet (y/n)!” Ivan walked in and your face lit up.

Ivan Braginski a male model in Russia. He had a wide muscle build that made girls go insane.
He was asked by Alfred Jones, a famous director in Hollywood, to play the leading man in an action/romance movie that was going to be filmed.
But there was one catch: Ivan would have to put on some weight for the role. Not much, just 30 pounds, but it still worried Ivan. He talked to his fiancé about this.
The moment she heard about it though, she blew a fuse and said that if he took the movie role, she'd leave him.
And she did, leaving Ivan broken hearted arriving to America. Alfred said that he hired an assistant to do whatever Ivan told

“Duuuuuuuuuffff”
*Wooshhhhhhhh!*
A chilly gust of wind immediately woke you and made you sit erect. ‘What the fu-?’
All around you was a blanket of white. You looked down to see that below your once laying body lie on a very thin layer of snow. Your eyes surveyed your surroundings and you seemed to be in the middle of an artic wasteland.
As any sensible human being you asked, “Where am I?”
Another gust of frost-laced wind blew against you.
‘I-it’s so c-cold’ you thought while you shivered.
When that thought surfaced your mind, tiny snowflakes started to fall around you and coat your

You stare absent mindedly at the chalk board, its not like you have ever learned anything from eco science. The only plus side of being in this class was the new student Ivan was also stuck in the same room every day for the rest of the year, not to mention sitting next to you. Last summer he had moved from Russia to your small southern town and started going to the high school that fall. You thought he was amazingly cute but never really talked to him, what did you have to say? Sometimes you made pleasant small talk but you would find yourself blushing, so naturally you didnt get to say much. He would just think you were weird.

You gulped. Not beacuse of fear like most people, but because your nerves. The large man was scary to most, you had been scared of him at times, but after knowing him awhile you had grown to love him.
He was affectionate, sometimes overly so, and loved flowers and vodka. When you had first become friends with him his sister, Natalia, had loathed you. After a year or so she had grown closer to you, and had stopped trying to kill you, and you were now tentative friends.
You knew she had a small crush on Lithuania and that she stuck to her brother because she was scared of rejection, Ivan was family and couldn't easily g

[Ivan’s POV]
‘My poor little sunflower has been through a lot today.’ I thought as I got the soft fuzzy blanket she liked so much out of the hall closet to put on my bed where she’d be sleeping. I took her favorite pillow and set it on the bed. I looked up as the power went out and sighed. “I guess the Baltics will have to go out and fix that, da?” I said to myself when I heard the scream of my Sunflower. “______?” I called out running down the dark hallway as I heard the voices of the Baltics asking what was going on. I got to the kitchen when the power came back on. On the floor had water a
